GenX (F) Supplement

When I create things I tend to immerse myself in the concept of the topic, this time it's no different. During the past months that the safety measures have been enacted by law there has been an influx of immature middle-aged people (mainly in the USA) not wanting to listen to reason despite all warnings for their own sake. Being the way that I am I dissected the reason why these people are the way they are and I wish to explain it here.

Everyone loves to pin the fault of everything on the Boomer generation without hesitation, what most don't realize is that right now the roles are different which leaves the invisible generation to blame for many of the social qualms of today. Unlike their Millennial children, Generation X isn't talked about because their parents were never around to judge them as they were left unsupervised to do whatever they pleased with enough allowance money to do whatever they wanted (which their absent parents earned in number pushing jobs that don't exist anymore, which is why they weren't home). This is where the feeling of entitlement comes from and is a strong characteristic in the "Karen" trope we see these days inundating our social media feeds. When these adults were minors they were given free reign to do whatever the fuck they wanted and now as hormonal middle-aged people they don't want to be given anything less.

The reason GenX is responsible for humiliating it's own children (Millennials and early GenZ) is because they didn't have adults to rely on, they pent up everything and thus they believe that it is abnormal for children to be selfish/attention seeking.

You might just be saying in your mind that this whole talk about Generations is unimportant, yet the reason why we keep bringing it up is because every single factor accumulates and falls like an avalanche in the future which is why it is now that the generation everyone forgets about is loud and unruly. Introspective reflection is important if we are to avoid making the same mistakes.

That's just hive mentality.

Everyone in a generation or nation isn't that way. People are people and everyone is unique.
This is like saying all of one race is bad because X amount of people did this, or a religion is bad because X amount of people did that.
If you spend your life expecting what you believe is right from everyone, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Whoop! There it is!
